Jim MiotkeQ: How does the guarantee work? Do you really guarantee I'll make money?
After you have completed the course and I approve your checklist (which includes a requirement that your product is in hand or your service is ready to go), you will see your first sales within 37 days. If you have not done your homework and don't have a viable market or business concept, I may tell you to go back to the drawing board and do additional brainstorming, research, or focusing work before launching your business.

Q: How much time will this take?
The class will take a few hours each week to study; time to set up legal requirements and logistics, brainstorming.

Then implementation may take 25 hrs a week (weekend 10 hrs plus 3 hrs each evening. (Yes, I know this means no TV... but you'd sacrifice TV for a few weeks in order to be totally successful, wouldn't you?)

Q: You say you'll help us identify our dream business. What if I already have my business idea? Can you help me mold it into a profitable business plan? Could you help me fine tune my niche?
Yes.

Q: What kind of businesses will this work with? Will this work for any product? What if I want to design clothes or train dogs or ___________? (fill in the blank)
This works for a variety of business types. You don't need to do something boring like stuffing envelopes! It can be creative and fun for you. And even though I'm a photographer, this is definitely not limited to photography. Here are a few other ideas off the top of my head. You can: What you bring to this may open up entirely new possibilities!

Q: What if I want to sell things in the real world, instead of online?
This e-class is focused on maximizing the Internet for automation and around-the-clock sales. However, you can certainly use what you learn in the e-class to build a website that is primarily intended to get more offline clients.

If your goal is to be successful in the offline world, no problem. You can still take the principles you'll learn to create a fantastic website that you use in your promotional efforts to be successful in physical stores. For example, you will be able to refer clients to your website for further information, product descriptions/photos, and details about your craftsmanship.

Q: Do I need a website before starting the course?
No. We'll show you how to get one set up.

Q: Do I need an idea? What if I don't know what I want to do… just that I want something better than my current situation?
No problem. I have many time-proven techniques that will help you find the answer to your question. Before long, you will likely have a list of ideas to choose from.

Q: Do I need to be good at writing?
Yes, you do need to be able to communicate with the written word. However, you certainly don't need to have a PhD in English Literature. A basic understanding of the standard rules of spelling, grammar, etc. will take you a long way and help you make a good impression on prospective customers and partners. Thank God for spell checkers, right?!

Q: Do I have to be at my computer at a particular time?
No, the beauty of this course is that you get to master online business principles in your own time, according to your own schedule. We do have structure, though. You will get each lesson on a Wednesday and your assignment will be due on the following Wednesday. So you won't be let on your own to sink or swim. We've found in the past that this combination of flexibility and structure provides the best platform for accelerated learning and growth. You'll be on your way in no time!

Q: When can I expect to see results?
Following the principles and techniques I teach, you can expect to see real results within a month after completing the class. Q: Do I have to be a member of the "Jim Membership" to join the e-class?
No, they're separate. The e-class will be open to people not in the "Jim Membership". The membership is primarily for people who need on-going mentoring and community to support them as they progress over time. It will be less intense than the class and more of a support group with insider information and guidance toward the best resources. Think of it as guided, on-going exercise.

You can certainly combine both, if you like, to get both the hands-on lessons, assignments, and guaranteed success AS WELL AS on-going mentoring and follow-up over the months.

Q: How much time do I get with Jim in this e-class?
You get up to 2 hours of Jim's time each week. That is plenty to work out all of your questions. You will have prompt responses, personal attention, and the interaction you need to work out all of the burrs on your business idea before you launch.

Q: How much would Jim's time normally cost?
$500/hour. If you require more than the allotted time, you can engage Jim's additional services at a rate of 50% off.
